the Frisco Bay Marina offers a nice little beach to soak up the sun and the beautiful views. It's located on the opposite side of main Street in Frisco. They have parking which seems plenty during the shoulder season, but can be busy during the summer months.
There are clean bathrooms and kayak/SUP rentals. If the winds are not too strong, it is the perfect place to paddleboard. The views once farther into the lake are amazing. I love paddleboarding here. Totally worth a visit. FYI there is no swimming allowed and the water is on the colder side, so don't fall in!
What a beautiful place to launch your boat! Nice ramp. A large grassy park area, areas along the water to just hang, a little bar and cafe. The views of the bay and surrounding mountains... Breathtaking!!
Nice place to go for a picnic. And the first 30 minutes are free for parking. You can do birthday parties over there. And if you love kayaking, then definitely worth visiting.
Great spot for a day at the lake! Lots of space to set up, whether on the sand or in the grass area by the restaurant. Such a great place to rent kayaks/canoes or bring your own. Very family friendly, restrooms, playground. Just remember to pay for parking!
Perfect spot for a picnic. There is a large park near for the kids and great views of the water for photos.
Pricey parking on weekends but lots of amenities and activities to do by the lake all day
